Immersive ‘Eat, Paint, Love’ Workshop
Our gorgeous ‘eat, paint, love’ workshop is a delight for anyone curious to learn about the amazing array of edible and medicinal herbs, flowers, plants and seaweeds that grow naturally here on Goleen Farm, in the rugged wilds of West Cork.

Tour price: €90 for adults, €60 for children

As the name suggests, this foraging-themed workshop consists of three different elements, all relating to the theme of foraging for nature’s delights:
Eat:
We will prepare a delicious lunch together from plants and herbs we grow in our garden and foraged ingredients taken from the land and sea, making delicious and nutritious delights like ‘Nettle and pine nut pesto’, or mixed salads from the garden and hedgerow.
Paint:In a meditative way we will explore the land inviting a tenderness from which we will settle and paint a plant or scene that resonates with our quieter heart….
The power of plant medicine is immense yet very subtle and sometimes just sitting with a plant of choice can be very healing and insightful
The idea is to have an experience that becomes timeless and create a souvenir that could be the background to an ongoing story,… an image that simply reminds us of what it is to be quiet
Love:
Finally, we’ll teach you how to harvest, combine, and create natural soothing creams for your face and body, as well as massage balms that Melanie uses in her massage practice, using a selection of natural ingredients .
