When you stay with us here at Goleen Harbour, you don’t just enjoy the magnificent views from afar, you get to experience them from the water. And with three different sea activities to choose from, we have something for everyone, whatever your interest.
Coastal Foraging Tour
We will follow tide out, at the great reveal of the mysterious, beautiful and delicious world of seaweeds… purple sleabhac, bright green slip of sea grass… caught up in lengths of sea spaghetti and golden green kelp.
As we walk, wade and forage seaweed’s strangest limbs we learn stories alongside the traditional uses and health benefits…immersing ourselves along the ‘magic line’ that is the coast. Our baskets full, we will then head back to a campfire and cook up to taste the various seaweeds and coastal plants.
Bring along a basket or net bag and a pair of scissors or folding knife. A pair of wellies or the courage to go barefoot.
The minimum group size is 4 people
