Music

As well as a peaceful retreat venue, Goleen Harbour also hosts lively music events throughout the year. We welcome a mix of local and international musicians, from trad sessions to DJ nights.

Jukebox Gypsy

Matt, Melanie & Ruadhán are delighted to welcome Jukebox Gypsy to Goleen Harbour. As a family we first came across the at Body & Soul festival about 14 years ago and were impressed by their energy, musicianship and harmonies and by the antics of front man Dave, always a crowd pleaser!  Matt booked them for the ERP stage in Body & Soul at Electric Picnic the following year along with The Calvinists, many lasting friendships were formed. The band remains up there as one of our favourite musical acts.

Jukebox Gypsy are an Irish folk band formed in Liverpool in 2007, known for their eclectic songwriting and high-energy performances that blend English, American, and Celtic folk influences. They’ve released two studio and two live albums and have toured extensively throughout Britain and Ireland. The band is characterised by its international lineup and diverse instrumentation, including guitar, double bass, whistle, banjo, mandolin, and vocal harmonies.
