We had a fantastic stay in Goleen Harbour. We, a family of 4 with 2 big kids aged 12 and 14, stayed in the Fastnet cabin for a weekend in September. The cabin was just right for our needs, it had everything we needed to cook a meal.

The beds were really comfortable, and we all slept well. The ensuite bathroom was just luxury, hot water on demand. The cabin feels surprisingly spacious, and is very well laid out as a flexible space for dining, sleeping and relaxing. The little deck was lovely to sit on while having a beer and watching the harvest moon rise, on a perfectly still night.

The grounds are beautiful and wild. The backdrop of Goleen harbour is stunning, not to mention the view of the fastnet lighthouse. The village is a five minute walk and delicious fish and chips at Colin’s place while having a pint from the adjoining pub made a perfect second night’s dinner.
